Louis L. offers regular “beginner handpan workshops” in Hamburg.
The course covers an overview of the instrument, correct posture, basic rhythms, quality characteristics, scales & Scale names and making music together are possible. The common thread is variable and can always be adapted to the interests of the group. After participation, regular individual lessons are possible in Ottensen / Neugraben.
Handpans are provided for the course. You will also have the opportunity to discover and test play different manufacturers and scales.
After the workshop, you will also have the opportunity to rent a handpan so that you can continue to implement what you have learned at home and further develop your playing independently. When you purchase a handpan from Sound Sculpture, 100% of the rental fees will be offset against the purchase price.
Participation in the workshop is only possible with registration.
